Bassole to Suggest Date for New Round of Talks
between Government and Darfur Movements

The Joint AU-UN Chief Mediator Djibril Bassole affirmed that he will suggest a date for consultative talks with the National Unity Government announcing that the armed movements in Darfur expressed their readiness to resume peace talks with the government to reach a lasting peaceful solution to the issue.
