National Forces Win Bar Association Elections

The list of the National Forces has won the elections of the Bar Association which was conducted last Thursday. The list, includes the National Congress Party, the SPLM, the Democratic Change, the Umma Party for Reform and Development, Ansar Al-Sunna Al- Muhammadiyah Group and the list of independent candidates.
Dr. Abdel-Rahman Khalifa, the dean, scored 3800 votes while his rival from the list of the Democratic Forces, Amin Mekki Medani won 1300 votes, with a difference of 2500 votes.
