National Electoral Register to be Announced Next Week

The National Elections Commission announced completion of all procedures with regard to the electoral register that would be announced on 11th of this month. The Deputy Head of the Commission,


Prof. Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, said that the register that would be announced next week is considered as the first national electoral register issued in Sudan.
 

During his meeting with the government of Kassala State, security, justice and legislative bodies there, Abdullah affirmed the keenness of the Commission to communicate with all political forces and parties in the country for the purpose of free and fair elections.
 

He said that the Commission is currently working to intensify efforts for the training of voters during the nomination and voting stages indicating that they have put a program to visit all Sudan's states and inspect the electoral process in the country.
 

Prof. Abdullah met yesterday with the representatives of political forces and presented enlightenment on the exerting efforts for the conduction of the coming elections.
