Hosting of the Schools Contests Proves Stability of Darfur, South Darfur Governo
Posted on Wednesday, January 13 @ 00:00:00 UTC by admin

 Khartoum: Mohammed Abdullah
Governor of South Darfur, Ali Mahmoud Mohammed, said that the hosting of the 27th contests of schools in Al-Fashir refutes the claims of the western media about the instability of the region.

Mohammed who was addressing the delegations of the students of the states of Blue Nile, River Nile, South Kordofan, Kassala and White Nile who visited Nyala yesterday said that the touring of the students to all Darfur states prove the end of the war affirming the stable security conditions in his state and the progressing of all development and infrastructure projects there.

The speaker of south Darfur legislative council, Olyan Mohammed Badei, said that his council has endorsed the proposal of establishing new localities which was approved by South Darfur cabinet earlier.
Badei said that the governor has issued a decree to establish new 10 localities raising the number of localities in the state to 25 revealing that this step has met with a large acceptance from the citizens of the state as they were long demanding for such a thing.
As the second Sudanese state with regard to the density of population after Khartoum, south Darfur needs to establish more localities to better serve its citizens, he said.
