Deby Pledges to Support Sudan's Efforts in Doha Talks

Chadian President Idriss Deby affirmed that his country will support Sudan's peace efforts in Doha.

On his part, Sudanese Foreign Minister, Deng Alor told reporters yesterday that Presidents Al-Bashir and Deby pledged to implement all agreements and protocols signed between the two countries.
On the guarantees to avoid returning to square one, Alor said that Deby's visit to Sudan represents a fundamental guarantee to avoid any deterioration in the relations affirming the great role played by Chad in Doha talks.
On its part, Sudanese government pledged to resolve the current crisis between the Chadian government and the opposition there.
Alor affirmed that the two Presidents discussed generally several important issues on top of which is the normalization of relations', describing the visit as friendly and good.
It is to be noted that Chadian President visit to Sudan entered the relations between Sudan and Chad into an advanced stage after 3 years of severing relations.
