Minister of Animal Resources South Darfur State, Massar Ali Massar emphasized that peace is the only way towards development. Ali said in an interview with Sudan Vision:
“We welcome the agreement between the government of the Sudan and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) because it is the backbone of settlement and development".
Massar added that the animal resources will grow through this agreement and get a lot of benefit. “What happened in Doha considered as an entrance to the coming construction and development” said Ali. Besides this Ali appealed to the non-signatory movements to join the peace process to complete the peace mission.
Massar disclosed that animals represent the major support to the economy of the state; he explained that more than 13 million head of animals in South Darfur.
